My First Bloggers' Meeting w/ Yntenzo

A few week ago, I had the opportunity to say "yes" to my first EVER blogger's meeting! Yes, I never been into public presentations, openings, and other themed parties like most of the bloggers I know. I never had the invitation! Till Palco Agência contacted me to be in a presentation of a new store in Braga, the Yntenzo's perfume store!

Days before the event, I received one of my favorite press kits so far, with samples of different and amazing perfumes from Yntenzo (you can check the photos on my features on Instagram). I was blown away by the care and detail of the press kit, and when I did a little search about Yntenzo, I fell in love with the store, it's so beautiful. I couldn't wait to experience it!

And when I had the opportunity to experience it, I really loved the store, the attention for the details and the all inspiration behind the amazing perfumes that you can find in the store (and online). In that day, not only did I had a tour in the store (because there is a lot to understand and areas with specific products), but also the opportunity to create my own perfume. As you already know me, I was thrilled just to think about creating my own perfume!

Throughout the all process, I was nicely intructed and guided to find the essence of my own perfume. From the beginning I knew "I want something fresh, with floral and fruity touchs". And that was the path I followed to create the perfume I named Fine Alchemy. In the end, it was this blog that lead me to do the event so I had to name it that way! In the end I even received a paper saying that I was an official perfumist, just for one day, but hey... I'm going to put in my CV anyway!

If you're in Braga, don't leave this experiencie with Yntenzo out of your schedule. The store is beyond beautiful, the perfumes are so detailed and thoughtful, the staff is so helpful and nice... Honestly, you won't be disapointed!

Há algumas semanas, tive a oportunidade de dizer "sim" ao meu PRIMEIRO encontro de bloggers! Sim, nunca estive em apresentações públicas, aberturas e outras festas temáticas, como a maioria das bloggers que conheço. Nunca tive um convite! Até que a Palco Agência me contactou para a apresentação de uma nova loja em Braga, a loja de perfumes Yntenzo!

Dias antes do evento, recebi um dos meus press kits favoritos até agora, com amostras de diferentes e incríveis perfumes da Yntenzo (podem conferir as fotos nos features do meu Instagram). Fiquei impressionada com o cuidado e os detalhes do kit, e quando fiz uma pequena pesquisa sobre a Yntenzo, apaixonei-me pela loja, é tão bonita. Não conseguia mais esperar para experimentar tudo!

E quando tive a oportunidade de experimentar, adorei a loja, a atenção para o detalhe e toda a inspiração por trás dos incríveis perfumes que podem encontrar na loja (e online). Naquele dia, não só fiz uma tour pela loja (porque há muito para aprender e áreas com produtos específicos), mas também a oportunidade de criar meu próprio perfume. Como já me conhecem, fiquei entusiasmada só de pensar em criar meu próprio perfume!

Ao longo de todo o processo, fui bem introduzida e guiada para encontrar a essência do meu próprio perfume. Desde o começo eu sabia "quero algo fresco, com toques florais e frutados". E esse foi o caminho que segui para criar o perfume ao qual chamei Fine Alchemy. No final de tudo, foi este blog que me levou a fazer o evento, então tive que dar uma homenagem! No final, até recebi um papel a dizer que eu agora sou um perfumista oficial, só por um dia, mas hey... vou colocar no meu currículo mesmo assim!

Se forem visitar Braga, não deixem esta experiência com Yntenzo fora da vossa programação. A loja é mais do que bonita, os perfumes são tão detalhados e bem pensados, o staff é tão agradável... Sinceramente, não se vão decepcionar!

Am I puting an end to the blog?

Long time no see! It been a while, I know. Since August 2018, I decided to take a break from Fine Alchemy by Ana's blog. Honestly, I needed it. Sometimes in life we have so much happening around us and inside our heads that little things like this blog become irrelevant. It's hard to say it, but it's the truth and it's ok to say it out loud, since my life isn't and shouldn't just be about a blog, don't you agree?

Throughout this long ausence, since I been active on my Instagram account but not in the blog, many were the people that contacted me to ask: "Are you going to end the blog?". Well, at the time for me it was more about a mental balance break. Now, I started 2019 with that question floating around my thoughts. And my final decision is... I will not end the Fine Alchemy by Ana's blog!

In fact, I did a makeover (do you like it?), I changed the name and... I decided to commict myself to post at least one article per month. I know it's just one, but I have to be honest with myself and that is a fair number taking into consideration what I been working on. So, do we have a deal to meet one time a month here in Fine Alchemy by Ana?

Há quanto tempo! Já passou algum tempo, eu sei. Desde Agosto de 2018, decidi fazer uma pausa no blog Fine Alchemy by Ana. Sinceramente, eu precisava mesmo dessa pausa. Ás vezes na nossa vida temos tanta coisa a acontecer à nossa volta e dentro das nossas cabeças que pequenas coisas como este blog tornam-se irrelevantes. É difícil admitir, mas é a verdade e não tem mal dizê-lo bem alto, porque a minha vida não é e nem deve ser só sobre um blog, não concordam?

Ao longo desta longa ausência, e porque me mantive ativa no Instagram mas não no blog, muitas foram as pessoas que me contactaram para perguntar: "Mas vais acabar com o blog?". Bem, naquela altura para mim resumia-se tudo em torno de uma pausa em busca de equilíbrio mental. Agora, comecei 2019 novamente com essa questão a pairar nos meus pensamentos. E a minha decisão final é... eu não vou acabar com o blog Fine Alchemy by Ana!

Aliás, decidi dar um makeover ao blog (gostam?), mudar o nome e... comprometer-me a publicar pelo menos um artigo por mês. Eu sei que é só um, mas tenho de ser honesta comigo mesma e é um número justo tendo em consideração as coisas nas quais ando a trabalhar. Por isso, temos um compromisso de nos encontrarmos aqui uma vez por mês?

The Mindset

The last few weeks have floated or is it my impression!? After all the drama around a computer that even clutched the machines managed to survive, I suddenly saw myself with a full schedule! Sometimes we have to have a bad phase in our life to emerge a good phase faster, I would say! And luckily some new projects came along and quickly the time seemed short! The upside is that this full schedule was so rewarding for me that... I even dreamed literally with work... all night!

The fun of starting new projects, ideas and jobs is that we quickly they assume our lifes and minds, often intuitively. Whether we like it or not, it's inevitable that our mind floats in inspirations related to them and our mindset is filled with a chimera! Although I can not even talk about any of the projects I'm working on, today I stopped and found myself looking at my Pinterest almost like my mood board. It literally shows the mood that is filling my projects... Let's say it seems to be now composed of clues!! And it's these clues that this article of inspiration is made of. Who discovers through images what I've been doing lately?

As últimas semanas têm passado a correr ou é impressão minha!? Após todo o drama em torno de um computador que nem agarrado às máquinas conseguiu sobreviveu, subitamente vi-me com uma agenda cheia! Por vezes temos de ter uma má fase na nossa vida para surgir mais rapidamente uma boa fase, diria! E felizmente surgiram alguns novos projectos e rapidamente o tempo pareceu pouco! O lado positivo é que essa agenda cheia foi tão recompensadora para mim que… até sonho literalmente com o trabalho... toda a noite!

A piada de começar novos projectos, ideias e trabalhos é que rapidamente assumimos todos eles na nossa vida e na nossa mente, muitas vezes intuitivamente. Quer queiramos quer não, é inevitável que a nossa mente flutue em inspirações relacionadas com eles e o nosso mindset seja recheado de uma quimera! Apesar de não poder ainda falar de nenhum dos projectos nos quais ando a trabalhar, hoje parei e dei por mim a olhar para o meu Pinterest quase como o meu mood board. Ele literalmente mostra o mood que anda a preencher os meus projectos… Digamos que ele parece ser agora composto de pistas!! E é dessas pistas que este artigo de inspiração é feito. Quem descobre através das imagens o que ando eu a fazer ultimamente?

My Adaptable Agenda w/ Inusitado

As you know, I love everything that is paper goods. I've even done several articles on the subject (you can have the latest one here)! And to my joy .. today I will return to the theme once again! Although the last few weeks have been a bit chaotic for me (whoever follows me on Instagram already knows the bad luck I've had), I finally got back to work and think about new content for Fine Alchemy. And when I was precisely planning new articles... the Inusitado girls contacted me with a GREAT NEW.

Months ago, I got to know the super creative girls behind the latest brand of Portuguese paper goods called Inusitado! Today, we continue the conversation with them, but with a full focus on the agenda 1/365. For those who follow Inusitado (follow the Instagram here), you will say "but this agenda existed and why talking about an agenda now at this stage of the year?". Well, it's never too late to start an agenda (believe me) and... we have to admit that from the first moment that Inusitado's agenda has never been a conventional agenda!

The 1/365 agenda is available in 3 covers of your choice and its concept differs from all other calendars because your organization is customizable thanks to the fact that its core is mobile and adaptable according to our needs. Inside the agenda 1/365 we find 3 elastics that will allow to attach 3 different notebooks inside. Two of these elastics will allow to attach the two notebooks that refer to the two semesters of the year 2018! The last elastic (as rule) attaches a "grapheme" notepad, making the agenda an ideal subject for thought and brainstorming!

But where is the great news? We're almost halfway through the year (as time goes on!) And the Inusitado girls had a great idea: make the calendar even more adaptable and offer new options to your heart! First, it makes perfect sense because one of the blocks, relative to the first half, is almost at the end and if we remove it we have a new elastic open to receive a new block. And second, the agenda thus gains even more adaptability and responds even better to our needs and to all tastes! So, from this week, there are NEW NOTEBOOKS: in addition to the usual "grapheme" notepad, you can play with your agenda including the "theorem" notebook and the "grid" notebook!

At this moment my agenda 1/365 has: 2 notebooks related to the two semesters of the year, because I still have several activities, meetings and deliveries over the coming months; and I put the notebook "theorem", because I like sheets scheduled to write all the new ideas for the blog, projects and even meeting notes that I need to have always by my side! What I really like on this agenda is the fact that... even after the end of the year and removing the blocks related to the semesters, this elastic cover can be reused to receive the notebooks of the year 2019 or be totally used to put the notebooks and make and a large, multifaceted notebook!

I had never seen this concept before! I always think that the current agendas are limiting and nothing customizable! That's why years ago I still tried to use bullet journal, which proved to be even more complicated and... I ended up following my own concept of organization. But with this agenda Inusitado has made you look back at the agenda as something personal and a great companion of organization! But, now is the time for you to play with your 1/365 calendar, and you can already find the calendar and all the new notebooks options in stores!

Como vocês sabem, eu adoro tudo o que seja paper goods. Inclusivamente, já fiz diversos artigos sobre o tema (podem ter o mais recente aqui)! E para minha alegria.. hoje volto a retomar o tema uma vez mais! Apesar das últimas semanas terem sido um pouco caóticas para mim (quem me segue no Instagram já sabe a má sorte que tenho tido), finalmente consegui voltar a trabalhar e pensar em novos conteúdos para o Fine Alchemy. E quando estava precisamente a planear novos artigos… as meninas da Inusitado contactaram-me com uma GRANDE NOVIDADE.

Meses atrás, dei-vos a conhecer as meninas super criativas por trás da mais recente marca de paper goods portuguesa chamada Inusitado! Hoje, retomamos a conversa com elas, mas com foco total na agenda 1/365. Para quem segue a Inusitado (sigam o Instagram aqui), vocês dirão “mas essa agenda há existia e porquê falar de uma agenda agora nesta fase do ano?”. Bem, primeiro nunca é tarde para começar uma agenda (acreditem em mim) e… temos de admitir que desde o primeiro momento que a agenda da Inusitado nunca foi uma agenda convencional!

A agenda 1/365 encontra-se disponível em 3 capas á vossa escolha e o seu conceito difere de todas as outras agendas porque a sua organização é personalizável graças ao facto do seu miolo ser móvel e adaptável consoante as nossas necessidades. Dentro da agenda 1/365 encontramos 3 elásticos que permitirão anexar 3 blocos diferentes no seu interior. Dois desses elásticos permitirão anexar os dois blocos que remetem para os dois semestres do ano de 2018! O restante elástico (por norma) anexa um bloco de notas “grafema”, tornando a agenda um objecto propício ao pensamento e ao brainstorming!

Mas, onde está a grande novidade? Estamos quase a chegar ao meio do ano (como o tempo passa!) e as meninas da Inusitado tiveram uma óptima ideia: tornar a agenda ainda mais adaptável e oferecer novas opções para o seu miolo! Primeiro, faz todo o sentido, porque um dos blocos, relativos ao primeiro semestre, está quase no fim e se o retirarmos ficamos com um novo elástico em aberto para receber um novo bloco. E segundo, a agenda ganha assim ainda mais adaptabilidade e responde ainda melhor às nossas necessidades e a todos os gostos! Assim, a partir desta semana, existem NOVO CADERNOS: além do habitual bloco de notas “grafema”, poderão brincar com a vossa agenda incluindo o bloco “teorema” (pautado) e o bloco “sistema” (quadriculado)!

Neste momento a minha agenda 1/365 tem: 2 blocos relativos ao dois semestres do ano, porque ainda tenho diversas actividades, reuniões e entregas ao longo destes próximos meses; e coloquei o bloco “teorema”, porque gosto de folhas pautadas para escrever todas as novas ideias para o blog, projectos e até mesmo apontamentos para reuniões que preciso de ter sempre ao meu lado! O que gosto mesmo muito nesta agenda é o facto de… mesmo após terminar o ano e retirando os blocos relativos aos semestres, esta capa com elásticos pode ser reutilizadas para receber os blocos do ano 2019 ou ser totalmente utilizada para colocar o novos blocos e tornar-se assim um grande e multifacetado caderno!

Eu nunca tinha visto este conceito antes! Acho sempre que as agenda são limitadoras e nada personalizáveis! Por isso é que anos atrás ainda tentei utilizar o bullet journal, que me provou ser ainda mais complicado e… acabei por seguir o meu próprio conceito de organização. Mas com esta agenda a Inusitado fez com que voltasse a olhar para a agenda como algo pessoal e um grande companheiro de organização! Mas, agora chegou a hora de vocês brincarem com a vossa agenda 1/365, e já podem encontrar a agenda e todas as novas opções de blocos nas lojas!
